When Lightroom CC originally launched it was woefully behind Classic from a features perspective. Photographers who had come to expect certain tools and performance were greeted with an underpowered CC, and few gave it a second glance after that. But now, nearly five years later, those same photographers might not know that they are nearly identical now. So then, why do we have two versions of the same software?

Color grading is a vital part of creating an eye-catching image, especially if you’re shooting raw. There are many ways to tackle it, of course, but in this 12-minute video and article, I want to show my personal Lightroom color grading process from start to finish.
When Adobe first unveiled Super Resolution, it gave photos a chance to increase in size without losing any quality, but it wasn’t clear whether that kind of magic extended to the trove of images on people’s smartphones.
The megapixel race has picked up steam lately with most new models exceeding 45-megapixels and rumors circulating of 100-megapixel sensors on the horizon. But what if low-resolution images from cameras like Sony's a7S III and Canon's R6 offered more detail along with added low light benefits? Now they can.
Adobe’s new Super Resolution is making a big splash in the industry as photographers can output cleaner upscaled images at four times the original pixel count. Is it really impressive enough to take the crown from Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel AI?
Adobe just dropped its latest software updates via the Creative Cloud and among those updates is a new feature in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) called “Super Resolution.” You can mark this day down as a major shift in the photo industry.

Photoshop CS6 lacks the powerful Dehaze feature Adobe released in 2015 and the program no longer gets updates, but for those unwilling to switch to Adobe’s subscription model it’s the latest version available. If you're on CS6 and you want Dehaze, there's actually a way: these free presets from Dave Cross will “fool” Camera Raw into applying Dehaze in CS6.

In this post, I'll share a trick I use to get some adjustments "beyond" +100 or -100 in Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw.
In the screenshot above, I like how most of the image looks -- the bird and the branches are well exposed, at least. But the blue sky got blown out to almost pure white. I already moved the Highlights slider down to -100 and it's still pretty white. I want to go past -100.
