Excire Software Adds AI Text Search to Adobe Lightroom Classic
Excire Foto has announced the launch of its “Next-Gen AI” tool for Adobe Lightroom Classic with the release of Excire Search. This new $189 Plugin will let Adobe users bring Excire’s advanced image management software directly into their Lightroom Classic workflows.
With this latest release, Excire Foto has taken its previously standalone version of the app and fully integrated it as a plugin working directly inside of Adobe Lightroom Classic, making it much faster and easier to user. The improvement was made with the intent to give users an improved and more efficient workflow that allows for a more direct image organization and access.
“Our vision was to boost Lightroom Classic with cutting-edge AI to provide an unparalleled photo-management experience,” says Erhardt Barth, CEO of PRC and a machine learning expert at the University of Lübeck. “Excire Search 2024 transforms your Lightroom workflow such that images are always at your fingertips, ready to be revisited any time you wish.”
The new tools provide Lightroom users a powerful, fast, and easy way for Lightroom users to search and organize their catalogues of images. According to the company, Excire Search 2024 includes an array of improved tools ideal for hobbyists and professionals alike to reduce their tedious workflows with features including search by text prompt to retrieve any image instantly within Lightroom (like “dogs playing on a beach at sunset”) with an AI tool capable of understanding complex sentences, context, and even abstract concepts like “sorrow”, and aesthetic ratings using X-tetics AI that aims to accurately judge an image to evaluate and sort an image library by quality and identify the most “sharable” images from photoshoots.
In addition to these two tools, users can also search for duplicates, people, and faces using Excire’s X-alike AI tool that allows for rapid identification of duplicate Lightroom files, or conversely, easily find specific people and features like age groups, genders, smiles/emotions.
Finally, users of Excire Search 2024 can automatically categorize files in their catalogues with X-tags AI to allow for enhanced Auto-Keywording. This new tool will analyze each photo in the library and generate relevant keywords to aid users in search and categorization, letting users skip the tedious manual keywording steps and allowing Excire Search do the “heavy lifting”.
Excire Search 2024 is available for both Windows and macOS for $189 (on sale for $149 for a limited time launch). Existing users can upgrade for $59 and a two-week free trial is also available.
